Frequently Asked Questions

General Product Questions

What do your robots do?

Our robots are designed to pick fresh produce items out of a bin or from a conveyor, and pattern-pack the items into a crate, tote, or tray to get your fresh food items ready for transportation.

What type of items will your robot pick up?

Our robots have been designed to operate with a large variety of fresh produce items in mind, from as small as a chili to as large as a watermelon. Examples include avocado, zucchini, capsicum and eggplant. Contact us if you have a produce type that you want pattern-packed, and we will talk with you about if its suitable for our machine.

Where would I install your robot in my business?

Our robots are designed to operate inside warehouses and pack shed environments. Our robots are often installed into a stationary position that is directly off the fresh produce grader line and into a packing station. For the best results, we recommend the robot is connected to an established infeed and outfeed system.

What is included when I get the robot?

Our robot solutions come as a full end-to-end product, meaning that you can quickly get started with picking and packing for your business. Our robots are in an enclosed case to ensure safe operation and to keep all components inside the machine. We also include a tablet interface on the outside of the robot for you to use, so you can get started with your robot and operate it without the need to access the cell.

How do I clean the robot?

Our robots come with a detailed cleaning manual and set of recommended instructions, so you can clean the machinery whenever you wish.

How does the leasing process work?

Generally, here's what you can expect:

  • Consultation: We'll discuss your needs and find the right robot solution for you.

  • Contract: You'll sign a lease agreement outlining the terms, robot model, and pricing.

  • Installation and Training: We'll get the robot set up in your facility and train your staff.

  • Ongoing support: We'll provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and a support line if you want to contact our engineering support team with any further questions.

Robot Set-Up and Use

Can I customize the robot's behavior or routines?

Our robots come pre-programmed to perform your fresh food packing task. We will discuss with you what type of pattern-pack you require for your task, and provide the options for you to change between pattern-pack types where necessary.

Does the robot need a Wi-Fi connection?

Its not essential for your robot to have a constant Wi-Fi connection. However, our support team can provide more assistance to you if the robot can access a Wi-Fi connection, therefore, it is highly recommended that the robot has access to a Wi-Fi connection.
