Kelly-Boxall's LYRO Robotics makes robots that pick and pack fresh produce. Using a suction "hand" and proprietary algorithms, the robots pluck fruit and vegetables such as mango and sweet potato based on weight, color and ripeness, and put them into different containers. The robots can be deployed quickly and can switch from one fruit to another in minutes. Last year, the company raised $1 million in pre-Series A funding and received a grant as part of the government's Ignite Ideas program.
